Formscan - ALFRED COVE won a similar event to this over 6f at Brighton two starts ago and was not disgraced when second at the same venue last time. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give him a big chance, although Rhubarb should not be discounted following an encouraging third in handicap company over C&D a week ago. The rest need to improve but Darkened Edge is the pick of them.
