FormscanBy Michael Graham - BRANDY LOVE was turned over at odds-on at Naas in January, but it may be best to put a line through that as thick fog enveloped the course and that was the only race completed. She did win a Grade 1 mares' novices' hurdle over a similar trip at Fairyhouse a couple of years ago and there is time for her to develop as a chaser having finished runner-up over fences in both starts so far. Atimetodream embarks on a chasing career with one handicap hurdle victory in her locker and this drying ground will aid her cause. Pebble Bleu outran her odds in second on chasing debut at Thurles, while Ladybank and Sea Aster could both improve for going chasing. Doyen Ta Win had a tough race off the front at Tramore on Sunday before dropping to third while Soldaro would prefer slower ground.

Paul did a fantastic job to keep her straight and produce her as he did. The last day she gave away the race here. It was a great race, the Cheltenham winner was here and she beat her fair and square. This mare has a lot of ability and I think if we can get her back going left-handed it would be better. I’d imagine that will be it for this season. We’ll see what her owner wants to do - if he wants to keep racing or breed from her. She is a good racemare but does drift left and that is not ideal. She had a minor problem that kept her out of Cheltenham. she is hard work, all you can do is sit there and try to fill her up. She is so quick over her hurdles and you can feel her having a look before them. She thinks about it before getting to them. She goes as hard as she can for as long as she can, but I was confident we'd get home. I was just making sure I had enough left to do it. She travelled better and felt better on this ground. I had been giving out because she was supposed to run in the race prior to this one and had 11st9lb in that and only had 10st in this.
