FormscanBy Mark Nunan - PUMP ROAD won a couple of times at his local track during a good spell of form in 2019 and has come back to form of late. He was placed twice off this mark last month and, although he might prefer further at this stage of his career, should be coming home well off a nice racing weight. Mullaghmore Wave won very easily at Ballinrobe but, having been raised a stone, she will need to progress again in this higher grade. Shes Some Doll was third over this distance at Cork before finding two miles a bit sharp when well-backed at Galway. She’s another with a decent chance at the weights, and Tecumseh Sherman is a handicap first-timer to note under a talented 7lb claimer. Thousand Tears won well at Killarney but wouldn’t be helped by any easing of the ground, which is a possibility with rain forecast for Thursday.
