FormscanBy Michael Graham - CARRAREA can go well in a hot race. Emmet Mullins' charge won his two bumpers before being beaten half a length into second, at odds on, by Ilmig in a Cork maiden hurdle. He should have every chance of overturning that form as Ilmig now carries a 7lb winners' penalty. Carrarea's sire, Notnowcato, gets plenty of winners on rain-softened ground. Willie Mullins' Farout did a demolition job on his rivals in his maiden hurdle at Cork. The form of that race hasn't worked out, however, he was visually impressive. He has winning form on soft ground on the flat in France. Paul Townend is on Mullins' Tax For Max who was runner-up in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse before finishing sixth in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. He was beaten at odds on when last seen in a maiden hurdle at Tipperary in May, but is highly likely to show that run to be all wrong. He has a rating of 133 which more than sets the standard.
