FormscanBy Tom Weekes - STRAIGHT HOME has been expensive to follow recently and while she could ultimately prove to be better over longer distances, nonetheless remains nicely handicapped. A point-to-point and bumper winner, she showed promise when finishing third to Stormalong at Tramore in August and while narrowly defeated at Listowel last month, the aforementioned Stormalong finished third then, and won well next-time. The selection has a big weight today but drops in grade. Dual winner Duke Otto has been running well and is ideally suited by this distance but is nonetheless reasonably exposed. Ten-year-old mare Romella is a previous course-and-distance winner and is just 1lb higher than when finishing second at Fairyhouse recently, with today's rider now claiming 7lb.
