FormscanBy John O'Riordan - Newcomer BECTIVE QUEEN could be good enough to make a winning start to her career. The Gordon Elliott-trained filly is a half-sister to two black type horses, one of which won his bumper first-time out. Owned by Bective Stud, the very fact that this four-year-old has been named after that location, suggests that she must be pleasing connections. Time In A Bottle, another filly related to a black type horse who struck on racecourse debut, also commands maximum respect. Trainer Henry De Bromhead does well with the horses he runs in this discipline. La Note Verte was weak in the market before finishing tailed off on her only start to date but runners from the Willie Mullins yard should never be discounted.
