FormscanBy Michael Graham - LINDA BARRETT could outrun her odds particularly with the ground getting deeper. She hasn't been at her best in recent outings, but the handicapper has given her a chance by dropping her by 3lbs. She has form behind the likes of the classy Logo Hunter in her locker and won her maiden on heavy ground at Navan in March. Tough conditions will suit her better than most. Moss Tucker was an eye-catcher in third when dropped to six furlongs in Fairyhouse on his penultimate start. He can be forgiven a below-par effort on his last start in the Curragh, after his jockey reported that a gate of the starting stall bounced back when it opened causing his mount to miss the break. His sole success came off the front over seven furlongs on soft ground at this track in August. Jon Riggens' record over five furlongs reads 221 including a runner-up berth here. He is highly likely to put an unplaced run in the valuable Bold Lad Sprint Handicap at the Curragh firmly behind him. Iva Batt couldn't land a blow in the Joe McGrath at the Curragh, but has the ability to get into contention. Meanwhile, there should be more to come from Down Royal maiden winner Red Wasp.
