The selection had Walhaan, No More Porter and Blues Emperor all behind when runner-up to Blue Soul and again filled the runner-up spot behind Whispersinthewind last time. Blues Emperor didn’t get away from stalls as well as usual in the aforementioned race and is a very solid mile handicapper, while Walhaan has won three times here over an extended 1m2f and may find this trip a bit sharp. Exquisite Acclaim won twice over course and distance earlier this year and again scored on his penultimate start at Gowran.
