Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen recorded fabulous four-timers for the second day in a row when Zafayan ran out a convincing winner of the mile-and-a-half handicap at Leopardstown.
The 11/4 favourite was produced to lead early in the straight and kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a length-and-three-quarters victory.
The Dr Lambe-owned gelding was returning to the Flat having been placed four times over hurdles during the winter.
"He's a very fit horse and I thought he'd be hard to beat. He loves that ground," said Weld.
"He's been very consistent and has run three seconds in his last three runs over hurdles.
"He was balloted out of the Fred Winter and I thought he'd run a very big race in that. He was trained for that."
