Anthony McCann has taken the opportunity to race three of his string in Wolverhampton this evening, with all-weather racing the staple fare on offer due to freezing temperatures wreaking havoc on the cards at Cork, Sandown, Newcastle and Wincanton.

There has been money for Circles in the Class 6 handicap over an extended seven-furlongs (6.50pm). She is a three-time winner on all-weather surfaces including in this race last year.

Bottom-weight Warrior Lion is up in trip for the extended 1m5f handicap at 6.20pm. The pick of his form was a runner-up berth over 1m4f at Dundalk in October.

Kensington Hope, a Showcasing filly and seven-race maiden, contests the Class 6 handicap over an extended five-furlongs (5.20pm).

Wolverhampton gets under way at 4.20pm while the action in Southwell commences at 2.47pm.

McCann also has Circles and Muhalhel declared at Wolverhampton on Monday, while Warrior Lion has an entry at that venue on Tuesday.
