Winners continue to flow for Bowe Colin Bowe has more than carried on the excellent results achieved in the recently ended point-to-point campaign. He saddled his third winner in as many days on the racecourse proper when the Barry O'Neill-ridden Don Vincenzo smoothly did what was required of him in the concluding Leopardstown Rocks (Q.R.) Maiden. 'Bon' O'Neill had to yield to Jamie Codd to be the champion rider 'between the flags,' but as ever he looked highly assured on the sweet-travelling Don Vincenzo (4/1). Don Vincenzo asserted from the favourite, Mr Fiftyone, inside the final couple of furlongs, to oblige by four lengths. The 'jolly' hung on for second by a head from Kildunne. Havana Dancer (14/1) and Golden Flowerpower (3/1) were the Bowe winners on Tuesday and Wednesday, at Roscommon and Wexford respectively, and after this he commented: "He's a grand horse. A bit of nice ground is important to him. "He's very versatile. He could probably drop back in trip or jump a fence. We might find something at Galway over fences. "He travels well and Barry said he was very professional." Elusive Ivy was withdrawn for refusing to load at the start. She was an 11/4 shot at the time of notification of withdrawal, which necessitated a 25 cent Rule 4 to all bets. The Stewards informed Gavin Cromwell, trainer that Elusive Ivy, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. (GC & EM)
