Walsh on the mark at Cork again Locally based trainer John Joe Walsh saddled a 1-2 in the Newmarket Handicap at Cork today, coming to the aid of bookmakers with 20/1 winner Surrey Spinner. Surrey Spinner arrived late to deny stablemate Diamond Showed by a short head. Afterwards Walsh, who was recording his second winner in two days, stated "Surrey Spinner was bought in England and was formerly trained by Amanda Perrett ? he has has some injury problems though."
