Versatile O'Sullivan lands all-weather heat Eugene O'Sullivan has made a good start to the current point-to-point campaign and the Cork trainer showed his versatility by sending out a winner on the polytrack at Dundalk, the Gary Carroll-partnered Walk Of Shame taking the honours in the Big Bad Bob Maiden. The victorious 14/1 shot made all and he asserted in the final furlong for a length and three parts of a length verdict over Bridle Path. "I have to give an awful lot of the credit to Maxine (daughter) who has done an awful lot of work with him," said O'Sullivan. "The biggest trouble we had with him was finding his trip. We found his trip in Listowel but that was on soft ground. "Passing Mallow there was plenty of rain and we thought brilliant it might slow it down here but halfway up it started to dry up. "He's a lovely horse and we're after finding his niche. Hopefully we'll come back for a handicap here if he isn't sold." D.P. Linehan, rider of Light Of The Moon, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the break. (GC & EM)
