Crystal Luna just edged the verdict to open her account at the tenth attempt, in the opener at Dundalk, continuing a fine run of form for trainer Danny Murphy.

The Ten Sovereigns filly had been second in a maiden at the venue last week and went to post a well supported 10/3 shot on her return to handicap company.

She came to tackle front-runner Turn Up The Beat a furlong from home and found a bit more late on to secure a head victory, under Colin Keane, in the five-furlong contest.

Murphy said: "I said to Colin 'just do us one favour, whatever happens, come this side (stands' rail)'. Last week he went up the far side.

"That's why I left Colin on her, I didn't even claim off her with the 10-1, because he knows her."
