Topweight Vale Of Glory (14/1) won the first division of the Summer In Town Family Ticket For 25 Euros Handicap Hurdle.

A winner over 2m4f at Killarney last year, the Adrian Murray-trained winner was given a good ground-saving ride by regular partner Eoin Kelly whose father, Mickey, owns the eight-year-old. The winner made progress from mid-division and got a nice gap early in the straight to lead before the last. Despite an untidy leap at that final flight, he stayed on well to beat Crafty Gael and Our Bobby by a length and a quarter and the same.

Eoin Kelly said: “He came through lovely between them and then idled a bit in front.

“He’s a good little horse and we might go chasing with him. He also won on good ground in Killarney last year and that’s my third winner.”
