John Oxx is looking forward to seeing exciting filly My Titania test the water in Group company in the C.L. Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon.
The juvenile is the first foal of Oxx's brilliant 2000 Guineas, Epsom Derby and Arc hero Sea The Stars to carry the same silks of owner Christopher Tsui, so it is no surprise she has been the subject of plenty of chat since her encouraging debut second at Leopardstown in August.
She returned to the Foxrock venue earlier this month to get off the mark in impressive fashion and now steps up to Group Three level.
Oxx said: "Our filly is in good form. She came out of her maiden in good shape and she takes her races well.
"She is pleasing us in her work and has always been a consistent worker.
"Everything has gone to plan since Leopardstown and the ground is good at the Curragh, so conditions should be perfect for us. She wouldn't have run if it were soft but that doesn't appear to be an issue at this stage.
"There are a couple of fillies in there with good form such as the Ballydoyle filly (Minorette) and the filly of Dermot Weld's (Tarfasha) but My Titania has been pleasing us."
Aidan O'Brien 's Minorette has already shown up well at Pattern level, while Tarfasha looked the part when justifying odds-on favouritism at Galway in July.
