The going for today's meeting at Thurles has eased slightly and is now described as soft to heavy after the track escaped any significant rain that hit parts of the country yesterday.

Just 1mm of rain fell at the Co. Tipperary course yesterday and the ground, which was originally called heavy, has been eased marginally as a result.

The first on a seven race card gets underway at 1.30pm, and the weather forecast is generally dry both for today and tomorrow.
