TIPPLE AMONG IRISH CHAMPION ENTRIES

Vintage Tipple is among four horses added to the Ireland The Food Island Champion Stakes field at the latest entry stage.

The Entrepreneur filly provided 84-year-old Paddy Mullins with his first classic success in the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday, and connections have already indicated that the million euro Leopardstown showpiece on September 6 is a likely target.

The John Oxx-trained pair Sea Dart and Alisar have also been added to the ´Champion´ line-up along with the French-trained Bright Sky.

´We are delighted with the interest in the Champion Stakes, and 77 horses remain in the race which is an increase on 2002. This clearly demonstrates that the race is continuing to grow in stature year on year,´ said Leopardstown´s General Manager Matt O´Dwyer.
