Dutch Schultz (4/1 fav) was produced with a perfectly-timed challenge by Conor Stone-Walsh to win the Irish Examiner Handicap Chase.

Trained by Gavin Cromwell for the Bootlegger Syndicate, the Golden Horn gelding was fifth turning for home and moved into second at the last before collaring Mount Frisco in the final 100 yards for a length-and-three-quarters victory.

Assistant trainer Garvan Donnelly said: "He is a grand versatile horse and while if the ground became much deeper it wouldn't have been ideal, he got through it as it is loose.

"He is a sound horse, is a good jumper and it was a good ride from Conor. He was very good on him and it was a young buck's ride to go down the inside!

"The horse will tip away and could go any way, mixing it. Hopefully there'll be a race at Listowel for him."
