Still Standing returns to winning ways in Limerick feature Still Standing recorded a sixth career win but his first in over two years when coming out best in an exciting finish to the featured LimerickRaces.ie Handicap. The Jessica Harrington-trained gelding was strong in the market with early double-figure odds tumbling following a number of significant non-runners due to the drying ground plus sustained support. Springbank made a bold bid from the front and was only pegged back well inside the final furlong, with Still Standing challenging between horses under Shane Foley. The 5/2 favourite held off Ebony Maw on his outer by a head with Springbank half a length further back in third. Foley said, "He had a nice run the last day and Tom (Madden) said he was a bit ring-rusty and missed the kick in what was a competitive race. "He has done that well. I had a good run around and he was a good horse in his day when he was a genuine Listed horse. He had a few problems here and there though. "He would appreciate more juice but it is beautiful ground and they have done a great job. "It's nice to get his head back in front and the Durkans (owners) are good men too so it is nice to get it."
