Andy Slattery’s Sir Dreamalot made all to complete an Ireland-Scotland across-the-card double for the trainer today, winning the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden three and a half hours following the win of his Sharjah at Hamilton racecourse.
Sir Dreamalot made all to beat four rivals under Declan McDonogh, adding to Slattery’s earlier Scottish win with Sharjah and also to the Co Tipperary trainer’s Rockingham win at the Curragh on Sunday, with Sors.
Following Sir Dreamalot’s win, Slattery stated “he loves cut in the ground and will go for the nursery in Galway next unless he's sold.
“His owner is a seller (Adrian Costello, son of the late well known horse trader Tom Costello) - he wasn't sold at the breeze-ups so that's how I ended up with him.
“I run all mine over five as it sharpens them up and then we find their trip from there. He's tough and improving.“
