Newcomer Siegel (9/1) fell out of the stalls and was still last early in the straight but picked up well to lead close home in the Winter Festival Tickets On Sale 25th September Claiming Race.

Colin Keane 's mount beat The Bear Trap and Admiral Mae by half a length and the same.

“He goes alright. He was a cheap horse, and not very correct. I'd say that was an ordinary race,” said winning trainer Noel Meade who owns the juvenile himself.

“If he's claimed he's claimed. He came home well, considering he was left.”

The Dragon Pulse gelding went unclaimed at his price tag of 15K but The Bear Trap is going to a new stable this evening having been claimed for 14,000 Euros by Brian Geoghegan to be trained by John Geoghegan.
