Jim Bolger's Sheer Bravado was the authoritative winner of the second split of the Feale Handicap in Listowel.
The three-year-old gelding lobbed away in fourth for Kevin Manning before unleashing his challenge a furlong and a half from home.
The 10/3 favourite hit the front at the furlong pole and readily asserted to come in clear by three and three quarter lengths.
Reserve Bay Of Skaill (6/1) got in and chased the favourite home, after finishing third in Fairyhouse yesterday. Is That Love completed the placings in third at 50/1.
Una Manning said: "He'll stay handicapping for the time being and could go hurdling eventually. He has soft-ground form, but Kevin said the ground was nice.
"It's always good to have a winner in Listowel!"
Travelling head lad Ger Flynn added: "He looked very well beforehand. Kevin gave him a beautiful ride and had him in the perfect position and he did the job well.
"He got him out of the gates and sat fourth or fifth all the way and he was confident turning off the second last bend to the last bend. It wasn't in doubt for the last furlong."
