Jockey Danny Sheehy doubled up at Gowran Park on 33/1 outsider Lady Scathach in the second split of the mile handicap.

Tom McCourt's four-year-old filly showed improvement in the first-time visor to power home in the final furlong by two and a quarter lengths.

The places were occupied by 5/2 favourite All The Mollies in second and Footstepsintime in third at 20/1.

"It wasn't a surprise at all and I've just been surprised she hasn't won before now,” trainer Tom McCourt said.

“I fancied her in Limerick last week and I'd say I just went too far with her. The owner had a few quid on her last week and it's just a pity here's not here today.

“He's a very decent man and it's nice to get a winner for him. She's definitely a lot better than her form was.

“I think she's a nice filly and she'll definitely go on from this. She works very well and has worked well with Have A Nice Day who would be a long way higher rated.

“The horses are coming into form thank God, it's about time!

“We'll look for something similar for her and she probably ideally likes a little bit of ease.”

Sheehy also landed race two on Insane Bolt (7/1). The double paid 271/1.
