Trainer Boots Madden has worked wonders in training Salesin to his third, and most impressive, win in a month when the gelding made all for an impressive win in the Cork Handicap Hurdle today.
Again ridden by Madden’s son Niall ‘Slippers’, the son of Lomitas made all, jumped well and eased to a 15 lengths win over Whispering Wind
Afterwards Madden reported “I was surprised Salesin won as there is a cut in the ground here – to me, all his best for had been on firm ground but he surprised me today. We’ll hav to go home and think about things now and he may go chasing soon.”
