Rule Of Law supplemented for Irish Derby

Rule of Law was supplemented for e95,000 to the Budweiser Irish Derby this morning, and will face a maximum of 12 rivals at the Curragh on Sunday.

Sheikh Mohammed´s Godolphin operation took the bold step to take on his Epsom conqueror North Light once again, while Aidan O´Brien trains six of the 13 left in at the five-day entry stage.

North Light is a top-priced 8/11 with Cork-firm Cashmans compared with Paddy Power´s 4/6, while both firms report support for the Dermot Weld-trained Grey Swallow - 8/1 (from 10´s).

Cashmans: 8/11 North Light, 4/1 Let The Lion Roar, 13/2 Rule Of Law, 8/1 Grey Swallow, 9/1 Percussionist, 10/1 Aidan O´Brien stable, 12/1 Day Flight.

Paddy Power: 4/6 North Light, 11/2 Let The Lion Roar, 6 Rule Of Law, 8/1 Grey Swallow, 9/1 Percussionist, 10/1 Day Flight, 12/1 Five Dynasties, 25/1 Bar.

The John Gosden-trained pair Percussionist and Day Flight are expected to work between races at Newbury this evening, while the Aga Khan´s French-trained Dalayan is a doubtful runner.
