The ground has eased slightly following 7mm of rain overnight at Killarney, where the third and final leg of the May Festival meeting takes place this evening (first race 5.30pm).

The going on the Flat course, with fresh ground available today, is now described as good to soft (good in places).

The chase course is good to yielding, good in places.

Meanwhile there was 3mm of rain overnight at Naas, and the going is now good to yielding ahead of their meeting on Wednesday evening.

The weather forecast today is for sunshine and showers, some heavy, while tomorrow is to be generally dry.
