Powerful Mullins squad in action Willie Mullins could be set for another good day at Fairyhouse with leading contenders in five of the seven races on the card. Un De Sceaux is undoubtedly the star attraction as he bids to get off the mark over fences in the opening beginners chase, but the champion trainer looks short odds to visit the winner's enclosure on a few occasions. The Promote Your Business At Fairyhouse In 2015 Beginners Chase looks a competitive event and Mullins saddles an interesting contender in Val De Ferbet. The French import proved a disappointment on his first outing for the yard at Limerick last March but caught the eye subsequently at Punchestown. He ran on to finish fourth behind Le Vent D'Antan in a hot contest at the Festival and looks a nice prospect for novice chases. The more experienced Thunder And Roses looks the one to beat on form after a decent effort to finish third behind Adriana Des Mottes at the track last month. He looked to have the measure of rival Busty Brown when that one fell two from home, while he also had Noble Emperor back in fourth. Both horses are in opposition again. The Book Online At fairyhouse.ie 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle looks an interesting contest and Mullins' Uradel will be looking to improve on a disappointing jumping debut at Navan last month. The three-year-old was a red-hot 2-5 favourite having performed well on his first start for the Closutton handler in the Melrose Stakes at York's Ebor Festival, but laboured home in fifth place. His biggest rivals may be a couple of jumping debutants. Jim Bolger has sent Ring Chief to Des McDonogh, who has done well with jumpers for the leading Flat trainer in recent times. The Teofilo colt won a maiden at Sligo in August before running well in a competitive Wexford handicap and looks open to plenty of improvement. Another with some decent Flat form is Thunder Zone, who was placed in three maidens for Ger Lyons and has since been bought by Gigginstown to go into training with Gordon Elliott. The Fairyhouse Membership 2015 Maiden Hurdle sees Mullins introduce another French import in the shape of Arbre De Vie. The Rich Ricci-owned gelding was placed twice from three starts in his native land and looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark on his Irish debut. Champoleon, who has been placed in three maiden hurdles already this season, looks the obvious danger for Noel Meade. The traditional dominance of bumpers by the Mullins team may continue in the concluding race with point-to-point recruit Stone Hard. The Robin Des Champs gelding, owned by Gigginstown House Stud, has joined the champion trainer having won his sole start between the flags for Gordon Elliott last March. He did the job in good style on his debut and the form has a solid look to it. He could be another exciting addition to a team already bursting at the seams with talent.
