The 4/6 favourite Pittoni ran out a very easy winner of the Profile Systems Kommerling C70 Hurdle beating his main rival at 13/8 Donnas Palm by a convincing twelve lengths.
Ridden by Barry Geraghty and trained by Charles Byrnes the winner took up the running after the second last before going clear to record a bloodless victory.
The betting and the form suggest it would be a much tighter affair but Pittoni made a mockery of the fact he is rated six pounds lower than Donnas Palm.
This was the fourth win on the trot for the son of Peintre Celebre who began his winning streak in a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown in February before winning a race on the level over a 1m 6f at Tipperary in April.
He made his seasonal reappearance at Listowel last month scoring in the Slan Abhaile at the odds of 1/7 by three lengths.
Winning trainer Charles Byrnes said afterwards: "He is improving. I am delighted he got the trip. There is a long way to go but he could go for some of the better races now.
"He might even go for the two and a half mile races if the Fly (Hurricane Fly) doesn't turn up."
