Leroy Parker claimed the last race of the season at the Curragh when a cosy winner of the concluding ten furlong handicap.
Noel Meade 's charge travelled well to lead two furlongs from home but was strongly pressed by Eighteen Summers
Conor Hoban only had to shake his mount up inside the final furlong to assert and he won with a bit in hand as he posted a three-parts-of-a-length success.
Triumph Hurdle runner-up and Punchestown winner Hisaabaat sent off the well backed 11/8 favourite (from 9/4) made a promising return to action, just a neck back in third.
8/1 shot Leroy Parker (from 12/1) had dropped back to a winable mark having been running consistently on the level this season.
"That's my first winner at the Curragh this year. I've had a winner every year here for as long as I can remember but I left it fairly late this year," revealed Meade.
"He flew home the last day and I thought he had a good chance today. He was due to go to the sales but might get a reprieve now.
"He's entered in the October Handicap at Naas on Sunday and if he gets in he could run."
