Urban Oasis completed his hat-trick in fine style when quickening up smartly to land the apprentice handicap at Cork.

The John Feane-trained gelding got a 16lb hike for his impressive victory at Gowran Park a week ago but that didn't stop him going in again in similar fashion.

Jamie Powell 's mount was a touch keen early on but soon settled in behind the leaders in the ten furlong contest.

He was asked to hit the lead a furlong-and-a-half from home and soon settled matters, sprinting clear for a cosy five-and-a-half length verdict over Breakintheclouds

“He won well again and I hate criticising races but it didn't look the strongest of contests so he was entitled to win,” said Feane.

"He is a three year old on the up, he liked the ground and we'll see what the handicapper does now.”
