Majestic Oak ran out a convincing winner of the Leinster Handicap Chase at Navan under a positive ride from Paddy Flood.
The Liam Cusack-trained gelding hit the lead four out and looked in control down the straight. Barneys Honour tried to throw down a challenge before the second last but could only get within two-and-a-half lengths of the winner.
"I was a bit nervous about the ground as he's such a good actioned horse," said Cusack.
"He's been in great form but we've been waiting for good ground all the time. You are training away and you have to run in something.
"I like this horse. He's from a great family. There is a novice handicap at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday for him. I'm thinking that direction."
