O'Connor shines on Tribal Donagh O'Connor gave Tribal Path a perfectly executed front-running ride to land the apprentice handicap at Dundalk. O'Connor bounced out in front on the 11/4 shot and stole a few lengths on his rivals over three furlongs from home. He maintained that advantage down the straight and the Damian English-trained gelding went on to record a four-and-a-three-quarter length victory. The winner had been placed on his last two outings at the track. "I was raging the last day as he was first reserve over seven furlongs. We've just had to be patient and keep him right. He had a swim during the week,” said English. "Donagh is a talented rider, and I think he's ridden my last three winners. This horse can run from six furlongs up to a mile or even a mile and one, and we should have some fun with him." (Quotes by Alan Magee)
