O'Dea's good servant gives Coen a 2nd winner He created much chat amongst pony racing followers and Ben Coen made it two wins on the racecourse proper when Oneoveryou did the job under the 10Ib apprentice in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap. This Tagula mare has been a tremendous servant for her County Galway owner and breeder Michael O'Dea. Here the six-year-old gained her sixth career win, always up there on the speed under Coen, and eventually getting home by three parts of a length from the favourite, Alfredo Arcano. The runner-up was representing David Marnane, on the mark half-an-hour earlier with Khwarizmi. “She did it very well and Ben gave her a brilliant ride, he's well worth his 10lb claim,” commented winning trainer Mark Fahey. “She's a bit of a specialist around here and the handicapper, in fairness to him, gave her a bit of a chance. Hopefully he's not to hard on her now again. “She drifted around a little bit and Ben put his stick down and straightened her up and got her back going again. He's a very good rider. “We'll stay going for the winter and we'll try and get another one before Dundalk is out, once the handicapper is not too hard.” (GC & EM)
