Navan passes inspection

Racing goes ahead at Navan today following an early morning precautionary inspection.

Officials at the Co. Meath track decided to have a look due to the prospect of frost as temperatures dipped below 0C.

However the seven race card, which begins at 12.15pm and features the Proudstown Handicap Hurdle, was given the all clear at 7.30am.

The going is described as soft to heavy.
