Natural Look finished well to annex the extended 2m6f handicap chase in Galway for Declan Queally.

The seven-year-old mare, on handicap debut, made headway into third after three out and was produced by Shane Fitzgerald to challenge between horses inside the final furlong.

She strode on nicely in the closing stages to come in by three and a-half lengths at 5/1.

Once Old Soul was headed over 100 yards out, he couldn't respond and was booked for the runner-up berth at 6/1.

Fitzgerald said: "She had been knocking on the door in a couple of chases and, while her jumping let her down one or two days, to be fair she was very good there.

"The chase course is an awful lot more testing than the hurdle track, but she battled and was good and game to the line."

Natural Look had previously banked two handicap hurdles.
