The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden was won by Emerald Harmony (7/2) who made all under Ben Coen.

The riders wore black armbands in memory of Georgina Ginnell, who had worked for trainer Jack Davison and passed away last weekend and whose funeral was held earlier today.

Trained by Johnny Murtagh, the daughter of Soldier's Call had been placed on her previous four starts and asserted approaching the final furlong to beat Red Hugh O'Donnell by two and a quarter lengths.

"She deserved that and seemed to improve at home since her Bellewstown run," said Coen.

"It was nice that she came here and did that today.

"A fast five furlongs suits and she seems to be one of those fillies that is getting the hang of sprinting now. Hopefully she could be one to improve into those sprint Premier Handicap races now.

"Johnny owns her himself so I'm sure he'll be delighted."
