First reserve Moncherie made an impressive debut to hurdling, when scoring an all the way win in the [email protected] Maiden Hurdle (div 2) at Wexford this evening.
Ridden by Robbie Power, the daughter of King’s Theatre easily defeated Ennisnag by 12 lengths.
Winning trainer Michael Halford was at Bellewstown but Power did mention “Moncherie was impressive for her first time over hurdles. I schooled her plenty and she knew her job coming here today.”
