Review GOWRAN PARK 19TH MAR Adrian Joyce excelled on In The High Grass as he ran out a cosy winner of the Shamrock Handicap Chase at Gowran Park.The 7lb claimer settled his mount behind the leaders early on in the 45,000 contest before producing him to challenge entering the straight.Tom Taaffe's charge got the better of fellow 7/2jf On The Net before the last and pulled away on the run-in to record a five-and-a-half length verdict.'He's been progressive all year and deserves to win a race like that. He did it well and handles that ground,' said Taaffe.'I'll step him up in trip when the ground gets a bit better. He'll jump a fence next year but he has only run twice and I would like to take on winners before the end of the season to give him more experience,' said Byrne.Streets Of Gold ran out a cosy winner of the opening maiden hurdle, quickening clear before the final flight for a nine-length victory over fellow 2/1jf Kilpedder.Don't Be Daft stayed on strongly in the closing stages to get the better of Beachcomber Bay by a length after a protracted duel in the Hunters Chase.Woodhouse stuck to his guns gamely to hold the late challenge of Outlaw Princess in the beginners chase while Scavenger held on to land the spoils in the bumper despite tiring in the closing stages.
