Horner Woods is set to head over fences next term after breezing home in Division Two of the St Margarets Maiden Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
The 9-10 favourite was barely troubled as he powered home by 10 lengths from Equus Maximus to strike for trainer Jessica Harrington.
She said: "He did it well and was entitled to on his last run. He will go chasing next year now and is already a point to point winner and jumps fences well."
Young Milly claimed the opening Naul Mares Maiden Hurdle in comfortable style for Ruby Walsh at odds of 4-5.
After taking it up at the second-last flight, the result never looked to be in doubt as she triumphed by five and a half lengths.
Trainer Willie Mullins said: "I'm delighted with that and we will aim for a winners-of-one race either before Punchestown or around that time.
"We will campaign her during the summer. She's not certain to want good ground but I'm confident she will handle it."
The Louise Parkhill-trained Chellah was made to pay for a serious blunder at the final flight in the first division of the maiden hurdle.
The 14-1 chance was well on top at the time but lost crucial impetus, allowing 5-2 favourite Horse Man Pass By to profit.
Duers benefited from a strong ride as he got up on the run-in to claim the Dunboyne Handicap Hurdle.
Sandyzar looked set for glory coming to the last but an awkward leap cost valuable momentum, giving 7-1 chance Duers the opportunity to sneak a three-and-a-half-length victory for trainer Paul Magnier and jockey Robbie Power.
Davy Russell was stood down for the rest of the day after taking a heavy fall from 7-2 joint-favourite Francis Du Mesnil three flights from home in the two-and-a-half-mile event.
