Declan McDonogh was on the mark with a double at the Curragh's final meeting highlighted by the success of John Oxx's promising Ebanoran in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
The 7-2 shot, running in the Aga Khan's colours in a race confined to newcomers, found a nice turn of foot to go clear a furlong out before holding the late challenge of Table Rock by a head.
Oxx has not had the best of seasons, but has been in better form recently and is eyeing a Guineas trial next year for the son of Oasis Dream and Irish Oaks heroine Ebadiyla.
McDonogh completed his double when Jim Gorman's 20-1 shot C'Est Ma Souer forged clear to take the Curragh Training Grounds Handicap by a length and a half.
Aidan and Joseph O'Brien put two more winners on the board including Sparrow a daughter of Oaks runner-up All Too Beautiful, who dominated the six-furlong Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden for juveniles.
Soon at the head of affairs on the rail, the 4-9 favourite cleared away through the final quarter-mile and had no trouble holding Bilderberg by two and three-quarter lengths.
The O'Briens had already taken the one-mile version of the juvenile fillies maiden with the progressive Dance With Another (3-1), who was making her third appearance on a racetrack having finished three lengths behind Sparrow on her last run.
Never out of the first two, she led inside the final quarter-mile and stayed on strongly to hold Achnaha by three-quarters of a length.
Jessie Harrington's newcomer Dame Lucy (16-1) stuck on well for Shane Foley to take the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden for three-year-olds plus by three-quarters of a length from Silky Pyrus after favourite Laviniad stopped to nothing when clear.
In a thrilling finish to the Join Go Racing In Kildare 2014 Handicap Ger Lyons' Greek Canyon (11-2) grabbed the verdict by a short head under Colin Keane, while Joanna Morgan's Ancient Sands (8-1) readily defied a 5lb penalty in the Buy Online At curragh.ie Handicap in the hands of Chris Geoghegan.
