Oaks favourite Chenchikova floundered in the testing conditions at the Curragh as Danehill Music galloped through the mud to land the Group 3 Park Express Stakes.
Kieren Fallon asked for an effort on the 11/10f over a furlong out but the Ballydoyle filly was unable to pick up in the heavy ground and eventually finished fourth.
That going was no problem for Danehill Music, however, who quickened well to lead inside the furlong pole and stretched clear to beat Utterly Heaven by two lengths.
'She is a valuable filly after that. She will probably go for one of the Guineas trials now and she does go well on soft ground,' said winning trainer David Wachman.
William Hill pushed Chenchikova out to 14/1 from 11/1 for the Oaks and made her a 33/1 shot, from 20/1, for the 1,000 Guineas.
