Review clonmel 19th Mar Belladventure made the most of the opportunity presented to her to land a dramatic running of the Clonmel Mares Beginners Chase for the Henry De Bromhead team.Andrew Lynch's mount (14-1) held every chance at the second-last, but the complexion of the race changed when the two leaders Our Symphony and Polly Massini fell independently.Belladventure was left in front and had enough in the tank to hold the challenge of Vale Of Avocia on the run-in to score by a length and a half.Willie Mullins' Florida Pal failed to get his head in front despite running well in three bumpers, but he had little trouble landing the Slievenamon Maiden Hurdle on his jumps debut.Patrick Mullins sent the 5-1 shot into an early lead and he shrugged off Clarkey's challenge between the last two flights to come home 10 lengths clear.In-form Ruby Walsh put another one on the board when Majestic Oak led all the way in the Powerstown Maiden Hurdle.Liam Cusack's 11-4 shot had favourite Rick to beat coming down the straight and did so with little fuss, popping over the last two and keeping up the gallop to score by a comfortable two and a half lengths.Walsh looked sure to notch another for Willie Mullins in the Comeragh Beginners Chase, but the coasting Captain Conflict fell two out and handed the race to Tom The Traveller (8-1), who beat Peplum by a length and a quarter.Robbie Moran drove Pretty Happy into the lead past outsider No More Prisoners approaching the last in the Suir Handicap Hurdle and John Berry's charge (12-1) stayed on to win by four lengths.Mysheramour still had every chance when unseating at the second-last and the well-backed Shorecliffe King did himself no favours with a bad error in mid-race.The Lisronagh Handicap Chase went to the nine-year-old maiden American Star (7-2). He looked to have matters sewn up but did not find much after the last, and Davy Russell had to work hard to get him home by a head from Duers.© www.irish-racing.com
