Hightown Heights registered a second Claimer success today, both at Dundalk, as the James McAulet owned and trained filly landed the opening Irishinjuredjockeys.com Claiming Race under Sam Ewing.

Claimed by McAuley from Ger Lyons' yard for E12,000 on October 15, the daughter of Teofilo gained her first success just a week later and today notched up her second Claimer success when beating stablemate Here And Now by two and a quarter lengths.

McAuley later reported “I think one of my other horses drove her mad in the stable yard when she ran last week!

“She's normally grand to tack up but was difficult and gave Sam a terrible spin and she was far too keen. We kept her much quieter today, just hunted away.

“She's not too bad, especially for that grade but I wouldn't say it was a great race. I wouldn't be under any illusions about how strong a race it was and the trip was too short for the favourite (stablemate Here And Now, 13/8f).

“It's grand to get another win out of her and if someone takes her they take her. She's done a good job for us.

“To be fair Shane Lyons (brother and assistant to trainer Ger Lyons) and Sam both told us she was well worth taking the day we claimed her and she's won twice for us now.”

There were no claims made in today's race.
