Phil's Magic became the second favourite of the night to oblige after Erlkonig in the fifth when getting up late to land the concluding Fundraising At Tipp (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race.
Aine O'Connor was in the plate on the Fruits Of Love gelding, second on his two previous starts, and the 6/4 shot chased the leader, 40/1 shot, Lady In Motion throughout.
Phil's Magic looked like he might struggle to get there in the final quarter mile but he got up along the rail inside the last to lead close home and score by half a length.
Winning trainer Dessie Hughes said: "I was in two minds whether to let him off or not after Killarney. He's won his bumper now anyway and he's a nice horse.
"He jumps exceptionally well – he jumped really well in his first run at Kilbeggan.
"He'll come back over hurdles in the autumn."
The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight on the final circuit involving Milestone ridden by Mr Josh Halley, placed fifth, Red Jacket ridden by Mr P.A. King, placed third and Riquet The One (FR), ridden by Mr F. Maguire, unplaced, where it appeared Milestone made an outward manoeuvre and caused the incident.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Mr Josh Halley riding improperly and consequently suspended him for 3 racedays.
