Lordan rides first winner of Flat season Wayne Lordan partnered the first winner of the 2010 Flat season when Hans Crescent took the two-mile maiden at Dundalk. The Michael Hourigan-trained gelding justified his position at the top of the market when staying on well to score by a length-and-a-quarter from Chip Tea. The 2/1 favourite was ridden into the lead a furlong-and-a-half from home by Lordan and asserted inside the final furlong to secure victory. "They went a good gallop which suited him well. He had a bit of a look when he hit the front but did it well in the end," said Lordan afterwards.
