Livelovelaugh completes Mullins four-timer Livelovelaugh made it four winners on the day for his trainer Willie Mullins (three at Cork) as he took the bumper at Punchestown, the Old House Kill (Pro/Am) Flat Race. The son of Beneficial won a point-to-point on his debut at Oldcastle in April when trained by Mark O’Hare. He was subsequently bought by the Ricci’s and he was sent off the clear 4/6 favourite today. Settled in second by Patrick Mullins he improved to dispute before the straight and soon led. He was ridden over a furlong out and he kept on well for pressure to score by a length and three parts. The front running Rock N Rhythm plugged on to take second under Johnny King for Bill Farrell at 14/1 while Russian Bill was a further neck back in third under Nina Carberry for Noel Meade at 9/2. Willie Mullins said afterwards: "He's a lazy horse. Patrick decided he'd make plenty of use of him if nothing else did but there was plenty of pace as it turned out. "He's a staying type of horse and we'll probably go for a winners bumper." Additional reporting by Gary Carson
