Levins hopeful with Ballinrobe raid Trainer Johnny Levins bids to record his first success in the National Hunt sphere as he saddles Noble Call in the Connacht Spring Show May 18th Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe this evening. The young Co Kildare based handler, who tasted plenty of success as a jockey, recorded his first winner as a trainer just last June at Fairyhouse, when Jumbo Steps obliged, and he has since registered another four winners. Cullentry Royal got him off the mark for 2014 at Leopardstown last month, and now Noble Call bids to break new ground for him here. Speaking on Monday afternoon Levins said: "I’m expecting him to run a nice race. He is as fit as I can get him at home. “He has done plenty of work and plenty of schooling, and Brian O’Connell has been schooling him. I give him a very good chance provided he gets nice ground. “He has had a break since he last ran, he is back now and is schooling well, and he is getting the hang of the jumping game. “He is not the easiest in the world to win with, but he is in the form of his life and I expect him to run well.”
