Landers keeps up the momentum Seven pound claimer Cathal Landers continued the momentum built by two wins in the last couple of weeks for Michael Bowe, when taking the Paud, Sarah & Mary Fitzmaurice Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Listowel on Gold Smoke. Sporting the silks of the Crooked Crew Syndicate on Eugene O'Sullivan's Gold Well mare, Landers was never too far away on the 11/1 shot. Gold Smoke (5th here on Sunday) led approaching three out and she kept on well from before the last to repel one of the market-leaders, I Will Follow, by four lengths.   O'Sullivan said: "She is a very nice mare and just took a while to get the hang of it. She ran very well here on Sunday and she just needed that bit further. "She just got caught for a bit of toe the last day. She is a lovely tough filly that needs a trip. She will win over fences and is a lovely jumper. "She is entered at Ballinrobe but that may come a bit soon and I'm not sure if she will run." (AM & EM)
