Khaos produced a game front-running performance to make a winning debut in the Auction Maiden at Dundalk.
Willie Supple popped the daughter of Kodiac out on the rail from her low draw and she took them along in the six-furlong event.
Paul Deegan 's charge had 7/4 favourite Multitasking for close company throughout and the pair settled down for a battle from over a furlong out.
Khaos was always just pulling out enough, however, and the 12/1 debutante stuck her neck out in the closing stages for a neck success.
The runner-up had been the one for money, backed from 5/2 in the morning.
"I had been aiming her at Listowel all along but she scoped wrong a few days before so we came here," said Deegan afterwards.
"I've always thought a bit of her. She's tough, hardy and has natural pace. She might come back here for a Listed race. She could be pacy enough for it."
